Gaming firm Mozzart bet Kenya CSR photo

Gaming firm Mozzart bet Kenya is accused of Money laundering and is on the DCI and KRA radar just like Sportpesa.

In a case study, Mozzart Bet has donated mostly to hospitals, things such as crank beds, patient monitors, oxygen concentrators, bedside carts, Macintosh mattresses and other essential materials.

However, sources alleged that the pieces of equipment donated are not working, being second hand, refurbished ones and frequently breaking down. The company rarely sends personnel to fix it.

It is allegedly the briefcase firm’s accounts finance such donations. It is not easy to flag or detects as illegitimate transactions.

The company is said to have poured money to the mainstream media as they benefit from coverage and adverts.

After a past expose about the questionable source of money that Mozzart bet uses made Kenyans shun the betting site, they pulled a stunt by the sponsorship of Kakamega Homeboyz FC to the tune ofSh20 million.

However, according to the controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, the directors of the firm are being protected by former Member of Parliament Musa Sirma who co-owns the firm.

Anytime officials close in on their dirty deals, the former politician often scares them away by mentioning Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s name.
