Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya counties MCAs receive their car grants after voting in the Building Bridges Initiative.

The move comes after constitutional analysts claiming that the counties have ignored public participation and directly voted in contrary to the Constitution.

Baringo county MCAs car grants at stake after declining to vote in the document.

Nakuru and Uasin Gishu MCAs allege to have been threatened by Jubilee SG Raphael Tuju that they either vote for the BBI to get the car grants or risk being denied.

Nakuru MCAs say they have been intimidated by the ruling Jubilee and now willing to oppose everything.

Uasin Gishu county MCAs says the Jubilee Party may fail to convince them if they will continue using threats and intimidations.

Led by County Speaker David Kiplagat, the members allege they have received a letter from Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju commanding them to vote in favour of the bill or face disciplinary action and miss Car grants.

" We are not c*ws. There was no meeting held to discuss the Jubilee stand on BBI. It solely depends on public participation, "the Uasin Gishu speaker said.
