Bodies of the deceased had decayed in their residential house near Tuffoam Mattresses Ltd. factory in Mlolongo, Athi River.

According to the primary probe, it is suspected the couple died on Sunday.

The woman, in her early 30s, was found resting in a head-down position on their bed with a heavy iron chain fastened around her neck.

The Police report stated that the couple had prepared supper — beef and ugali — which they had not eaten.

The couple’s bodies were taken to Shalom Hospital mortuary in Athi River.
