DP William Ruto hosts Raila Odinga in his Karen residence, insiders hint on a new Alliance

 ODM leader Raila Odinga is at the home of DP William Ruto in Karen where they are claimed to be discussing about forming a new alliance.

Sources privy to the meeting says that the meeting started on Wednesday evening, 31st March 2021 and the main agenda is said to be alliance formation ahead of 2022 polls.

Raila Odinga is accompanied by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, Senator James Orengo and ODM SG Edwin Sifuna.

The move comes after the former Prime Minister was prevented an entry in the formation of the One Kenya Alliance by the alliance top leadership. 

ODM party was expected to announce the party presidential bearer today, but according to the circumstances surrounding the party leadership, the move was postponed until further notice.

ODM and UDA parties may be forced to form a political alliance to counter the One Kenya Alliance ahead of the forthcoming general elections. 

Already a section of the Jubilee top officials are backing One Kenya Alliance with KANU boss Gideon Moi as the flagbearer ahead of the 2022 general elections.
