US-based Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o currently enjoying her motherland appears to be loving it while on vacation in Lamu.

The Oscar award winner shared stunning photos while on the island with one of her on top of a boat and the other while touring in the beauty of the land captioning, "Lamu Tamu | Lamu Damu."
Lupita's photos caused mixed reactions with many showing her love, even supermodel Naomi Campbell, who elucidated with love emojis.
Lupita was showing off that she does tour Kenya and the beautiful landscape she has, just that it's mostly not shared online.
That might have provoked Najib Balala that she is very approachable after the tourism CS alleged the actress was unreachable.
Balala admitted that he had been looking for Lupita for about five years and hence determined to give the Magica Kenya International ambassadorial job to model Naomi Campbell.
The CS revealed that the Tourism docket makes such appointments based on their target markets reiterating Campbell will utilise her vast international networks to market the country.
Later, the Hollywood star tweeted a photo of herself having a burst of hearty laughter on Friday, January 22, disputing the inaccessible nature from the government top official.

However, Balala changed reversed his statement saying Kenya was ready to give Lupita the ambassadorial role.
Balala added that the country would be honoured to have Lupita help sell the Kenyan brand but was quick to ask the award-winning actress to contact him.
