The global virus Pandemic measures set by the Ministry of Health will be extended to September 2021 as sources within the government reveal.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to extend curfew and other measures to September after an increase in the infection rate in the country.

The insiders say the National Emergency Response Committee had a meeting to re-evaluate the measures.

Some of the proposals were to add more measures or restrictions that will help to avert the danger of the second wave of the virus.

It is now expected that the President will uphold the new measures after the evaluation from the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe and his team, who are expected to discuss and handover to the President this week.
