Nyeri County police officers detain three women linked to dosing and robbing unsuspecting victims, mostly men, in bars around the Ruringu area.


The three; Rita Achieng Okuto, Caroline Kariuki and Caroline Wanjiku were arrested for being out past curfew time and in possession with sleeping pills.


However, upon a thorough search conducted on them, they were discovered to have six mobile phones, a laptop, one electronic tablet and a variety of ATM and identity cards belonging to different people.


They also had tablets speculated to be sleeping pills(Mchele) that they strap their victims’ drinks deadening them before robbing them.


Two men who presented themselves at the Nyeri Police Station to report that they had been robbed, undoubtedly recognised their phones, revealing that they were in the company of the women.


The three are expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday to face multiple charges.
