Deputy President William Ruto opens up about the economy and how it went down under the Jubilee administration.

The Deputy President added that the economy was well planned from 2013 but changed because of changed priority.

“We must grow the base, create jobs, grow the enterprise, create a wider tax base so that debt does not crush us… We need to get the police out of the management of the economy,” he said.

“I think I have ideas on how to change Kenya…I want my competitors to come up with alternative ideas… Politics in Kenya must be prosecuted on account of a plan, not a tribal arrangement or an endorsement,” he added.

" We should be serving tea to Keroche Breweries founder Tabitha Karanja.  We should not be using police in the economy. She pays Sh 500 Million, employed over 1000 people. But she closed, " DP William Ruto said.
