Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka photo

Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka on the weighing scale as a public figure after shares a condolences message online.

The netizens carefully scrutinise all words or photo/s used and an error was spotted instantly.

Following the death of former State House Controller Abraham Kiptanui,  several political leaders took to social media to mourn him.

The statement in Kalonzo’s consolation was clear and devoid of any mistakes.

But what captivated a backlash was the photo he used that of a person who is still alive.

The former Vice-President heaved a picture from the internet and without verifying went ahead to publish it on his Twitter account.

This was indefensible because Kalonzo in his message had said he knew and worked with Kiptanui.

“I have learned of the passing on of former statehouse controller Mr Abraham Kiptanui with a profound sense of loss. I have known and worked closely with Abraham during his tour of duty and deeply admired his commitment to duty as a loyal public servant. Rest in Peace, dear friend,” he wrote.

Kenyans conveyed their surprise discerning the Wiper boss using a wrong photo and yet he alleges to have known the deceased for many years.

Journalist Oliver Mathenge said: “When you have ‘known and still verify with someone and still use the wrong photo…”.

Evans Miloo: “Kalonzo Musyoka Googled Abraham then posted a photo without verifying. The road to State House is not easy. Rest In Peace Kiptanui.”
