Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria asks the government to push for vaccination across the country for people above 18 years to re-open the nation.

In a viral video, the legislator said the government should set aside Sh 18 Billion as per the rate of $700 per dose as communicated by the ministry.

" In the United States of America, the Biden Administration has been vaccinating 3 Million people daily. To vaccinate 25 Million Kenyans above the age of 18 you need only 8.3 days and we fully reopen the economy, " the MP stated.

" The new strategy to vaccinate Kenyans will work much better than several lockdowns that haven't brought any change in this country but have increased the poverty rate among Kenyans, " he added.

" Kenyans have suffered a lot, people have lost their jobs, lockdown after lockdown yet the government can use 18 billion to vaccinate Kenyans, let's buy this idea and help Kenyans come out of this pandemic, " a Twitter user posted asking the MP to continue pushing for the vaccine.
