Catherine Ndila Musyoka charged at Milimani court for defrauding Kenyans by pretending that she would give their opportunities at Kenya Defence Forces.
Catherine Ndila Musyoka appeared before magistrate Martha Nanzushi and dismissed the charges.
The court was told that on dates between March 13 and 23, 2021 in Nairobi, she schemed to receive Sh700,000 from Mathias Mulelo.
In another count, she was charged with obtaining money by false pretence against the law.
The involved was charged with obtaining Sh700,000 by pretending that she was in a place to help him to secure employment opportunities for his relatives with the Kenya Defence Forces.
The prosecution did not oppose bail but requested the court to reconsider the penalties the offence draws if the suspect is found guilty.
She was released on Sh200,000 cash bail.
The matter will be mentioned on June 7.
