IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati writes to DPP Nordin Haji to prosecute Kiambu Governor James Nyoro and his team over causing chaos in Juja on Tuesday night.

Chebukati added that DPP Haji should arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of the chaos.

IEBC was forced to postpone vote tallying in the Juja constituency by-election for a night after chaos erupted at Mang'u High School.

The IEBC boss accused Nyoro of disrupting the process. The vote tallying resumed on Wednesday, 10 hours after the suspension.

"At around 10:20 pm tonight there was disruption of the tallying process at Mang’u HighSchool Tallying centre in Juja Constituency by a group of individuals led by the KiambuCounty Governor Mr James Nyoro," Chebukati said.

However, before the Governor stormed the tallying centre, three men stormed the centre at Mang'u High school and caused a disturbance mounting concerns from parties involved.

Police intervened and whisked the three away. The three men are strong and close allies of the Kiambu Governor James Nyoro.
