Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi becomes the latest member of the Amani National Congress (ANC) party set for Westlands constituency legislative seat battle ahead of 2022.

ANC party, led by Musalia Mudavadi, announced on Monday that the LSK boss is the latest member.

“The Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has today officially joined the Party. He was received by Executive Director Margaret Ndanyi at the party headquarters in Lavington,” the ANC party stated.

The move comes just a week after he declared that he will be running for Westland’s parliamentary seat.

The LSK President took to his social media pages saying that he requested by Westlands Constituency residents to run for the seat.

The LSK boss in his remarks added that he has declared to run for the seat and discharged assurance that he will secure the seat come 2022.

He said he is aware of the duties of a member of parliament and assured the people of Westlands Constituency that he will serve their interest once elected.

However, it is still unclear that he will compete against the incumbent Tim Wanyonyi but sources claim that has since declared interest in Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
