Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan will on Wednesday address a joint Parliamentary session at the National Assembly, Nairobi.



President Suluhu is anticipated to be in the country on Tuesday for a two-day official visit.

In Gazette Notice published by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and his Senate counterpart Kenneth Lusaka, she will address the joint sitting at 2:30 PM.


"Notice is given to all members of the National Assembly that under the provisions of the Standing order 25 (1) of the National Assembly in consultation with the Speaker of the Senate, has arranged for a Joint Sitting of Parliament to be held on Wednesday 5th May 2021 at 2:30 p.m at the National Assembly chamber, main parliament buildings, Nairobi.


" The Joint sitting is for purposes of an address by Her Excellency Samia Suluhu, President of the United Republic of Tanzania," read the notice by Speaker Muturi.


President Suluhu will also hold discussions with her host President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto at the statehouse.


She will also attend Kenya and Tanzania businessmen meeting. The meeting will ponder on business and investments opportunities ready in the two countries.
