John McAfee, the antivirus intellect turned cryptocurrency enthusiast, claimed murderer, and contended tax evader, was found dead in a prison cell in Spain, according to numerous allegations by Spanish media.

McAfee, 75, made a success in the late 1980s and early 1990s after he established McAfee Associates, one of the first companies to make a computer antivirus.

His involvement in the cybersecurity world virtually stopped in 1994, when he retired from the company. Since then, his life has been bogged down in one dispute after another. McAfee also began several investments, such as yoga, herbal antibiotics, and more recently cryptocurrency.
