ODM Leader Raila Odinga shocked over Deputy President William Ruto heroic welcome in Kisumu.
That was out of the blues, DP William Ruto refused to take a Police chopper and decided to use his helicopter to reach Kisumu.
There were huge masses who wanted to be addressed by DP William Ruto in Kondele. People blocked the road cheering him.
That action had revived history where some elites and top political leaders perished on their way to Kisumu.
" As we celebrate Madaraka Day, we are reminded that our forefathers worked hard so that we can have a democratic nation. A nation anchored not on personality but constitutionalism, "DP William Ruto said.
"It will be an act of great betrayal if we allow ethnic bigotry to destroy the firm foundation of the rule of law in our nation. Our forefathers fought for independence so that we can have Rule of Law and not the Rule of men,” the DP added.
