Detectives based in Olenguruone, Nakuru county, arrest a middle-aged lady after an officer was found dead just shortly after visiting her house.

Kuresoi South OCPD Henry Nyaraga said they will continue detaining Chepkorir to assist the police in investigations.

Before his unexpected death, David Kulgat is said to have toured the house of Lucy Chepkorir, who had initially been implicated in another unnamed crime.

Confirming the Saturday, July 24, incident, Kuresoi South OCPD Henry Nyaraga said they would detain Chepkorir to help the police in investigating the matter.

Kulgat's remains were transferred to Olenguruone Hospital, where a postmortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of his untimely death.

Nyaraga said the autopsy report would resolve whether Chepkorir will be tied to the police officer's death or not. Until his death, Kulgat was a police constable assigned to Kiptagich Police Station. The intention of his visit to Chepkorir's house is yet to be ascertained.
