Deputy President William Samoei Ruto raid Senator Gideon Moi’s

Deputy President William Samoei Ruto raid Senator Gideon Moi’s home snatching Moi's brothers ahead of the 2021 general elections.

Reports by Citizen Weekly reveal Dr William Ruto has also made his way into the Moi family winning the heart of Philip Moi and Raymond Moi who are now backing his presidential bid from Rift Valley.

Philip Moi aims to ensure that the monetary interests of the late former President Daniel Torotich Arap Moi in the region are upheld just in case Ruto takes over the top seat.

He is also alleged striving to punish his young brother Gideon Moi for isolating him from their father and also using his good connection with the dad to own several properties by himself.

More reports reveal that Gideon Moi has lost old President Moi’s press secretary  Lee Njiru who was the vanguard of spearheading and brokering the deal between Philip Moi and William Ruto.

Lee Njiru changed position to William Ruto's camp after several influential Kalenjin leaders pledged to back his 2022 presidential bid.

Others supporting the DP from the rift include Franklin Bet, Henry Kosgey, Joshua Kulei, Benjamin Sogomo, pastor Silas Yego, Isaac Ruto amongst others.

“Insiders added that those fleeing Gideon’s camp for Ruto are accusing the Baringo senator of being stingy and mean.” Reported the Citizen Weekly.

“For instance, Yego shifted to the deputy president’s camp after Gideon failed to bail him out at a time auctioneers were knocking on his door over ascending debts," cited the Newspaper.

With regards to the late Kiplagat, the source added that it was the same case since he was gazing at being ousted from his residential home with Gideon Moi blocking his calls and messages.

The move came just recently after he won over the former Governor of Bomet Mr Isaac Ruto.
