Amazing events take day after a woman narrated how she married a man with a disability has been carrying him for the past 60 years and promised never to abandon him until death separates them.
The man sent a messenger to her one day since he himself could not move anywhere. He then pleaded her to marry him, and she consented the move.
“When he proposed to me, it was entirely Unique. My heart convinced me that he’s the right partner,” the elderly woman said.
People entailing the woman’s mother-in-law had all instructed her to reject him because they thought she is only squandering her life with a man who can neither walk nor work to take care of her, but she rejected their advise.
She had two children with another man prior before she got married to her current husband with whom she has none.
She admitted that they’ve tried to get intimate but have not attained due to the man’s health situation.
Recounting the ordeal to Afrimax TV how his situation came about, the man said he was born impaired but his parents declined to take him to the hospital until it was too late to cure his condition.
He resides with his partner in a small mud house where he was born and has never moved anywhere far from the village.
“I sent a messenger to find me love, when I told her what was on my heart, she said ‘yes’, and that’s how we have lived together since,” the man recited.
The woman has settled to work and take care of herself and him, and that’s what she has done for decades. The woman has been working for people on their farms among other stuff to put food on the table.
Aside from working, she showers her husband, cleans his mess, carries her to the farm, and so on.
