Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua and his wife lilian

Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua opens his heart just hours after his wife, Machakos First lady Lilian Nganga declared openly the end of their long-term affair Sunday.

Mutua shared on social media saying that Lilian was a blessing to him in the relationship and they decided to disentangle it 2 months ago.

The governor still noted that they continue to be friends and continue to talk, meet and exchange ideas.

“There is a song by Roger Whittaker that has the line: ‘the first time we said hello, we started to say goodbye.’ Lillian and I have been a blessing to each other. Two months ago, we decided to slowly disengage. We are on amicable terms and remain very close as friends. We will continue to talk, meet and share ideas constantly.” Mutua said.

Mutua wept. The Governor presented his tears of how he missed her company but pledged to support her in her endeavours.
