Former City Governor Mike Sonko under siege photo

Former City Governor Mike Sonko explains why he likes recording conversations when talking to people in the government.

Sonko alleged that he is only aiding Chief Justice Martha Koome and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to fight impunity.

The controversial man added that he is releasing videos to fix Kenya’s Judiciary, expose cartels running Nairobi County.

“I’m fighting for the justice of over 40 million Kenyans. We have to fix this country and the judiciary,” he said.

Sonko added that there are other recorded clips that he started compiling since he assumed power as the Nairobi Governor and will release all of them.

Sonko said his aim was also to restore faith in the top seat.

“I started recording people when I became the governor of Nairobi. I was trying to bring public confidence in the office of the governor,” Sonko said.

Sonko’s former lawyers secured orders barring him from further publishing any exposé material against them pending a hearing of their case.
