DP William Ruto in EMbu tour heckled photos

Deputy President William Ruto cautions Kenyans against being divided along tribal and political lines. The second in command said the move will benefit a few.

Addressing people on the second day of his Embu tour, the deputy president asked residents of Mbeere North and Mbeere South constituencies to join United Democratic Alliance (UDA), adding that it is uniting Kenyans.

“Let’s attempt to have a more reliable country. We must work as a team to form the next government that will achieve a bottom-up approach to restore the collapsing economy,” Ruto said.

He told citizens that more than 150 MPs across the country had come together to unite all Kenyans.

Ruto and his allies rejected the move to dismiss UDA members from Jubilee Party, explaining that Jubilee was dead.

They blamed ODM leader Raila Odinga for crushing the Jubilee Party since the Handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

DP William Ruto affirmed that he was keen to continue with the Big 4 Agenda, and fulfil all projects set by President Kenyatta when elected as the next president.

“We had very good plans as Jubilee but all the plans were disintegrated by the entry of Odinga into our party,” Ruto said.
