Six people died in a tragic road accident along the Mombasa-Malindi road at Roka-Mwembeni area on Saturday night.
According to police, the accident happened at Roka area involving matatus along the busy Mombasa-Malindi highway.
Kilifi North sub county police commander Jonathan Koech noted the accident happened when two matatus collided, leaving 17 passengers with severe wounds.
They were rushed to the Kilifi county hospital.
The commander warned drivers that speeding is prohibited and serious action will be taken against such incidents.
