Manchester United caretaker manager Michael Carrick resigns at old Trafford as Ralf Rangnick takes over this weekend.

Michael Carrick officially decided to step down as First Team Coach and leave Manchester United. His move comes after ending his spell as caretaker Manager.

In a media interview, Carrick said,  “My time at this great club will always rank as the best years of my career. I have decided that now is the right time to leave the club. I would like to wish Ralf Rangnick, the staff, the players and the fans all the best for the future”.

There was some news that Cristiano Ronaldo has been the problem. However, Carrick revealed that Ronaldo has never been a problem for any club or any manager.

Ralf Rangnick included him in his squad and already sent a clear message on this point.
