Trouble looming at old Trafford. Reports indicate that Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo will be offered to Paris Saint-Germain as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe who heads to Real Madrid.

Despite discussions of the 36-year-old ending his career at Old Trafford, El Nacional pens that agent Jorge Mendes has submitted his client to the Ligue 1 club with the hopes of observing him team up with Lionel Messi.

And as time goes on, clocking down on Mbappe's contract, which expires at the end of the season, the 22-year-old points closer to an ideal move to Los Blancos.

There is no sign of renewal after Mbappe declined to pen down on the contract.

That move prompted PSG to reconsider Ronaldo as a replacement, who surpassed the 800-goal mark in a win over Arsenal on Thursday, as a viable option if they fail to land Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland next summer.
