Capitol office denies campaign fundraiser that was to take place next week.  

The ODM leader Raila Odinga’s office distances itself from an Sh1 million per plate dinner slated for Tuesday next week that has been publicized on social media.

The officials claim that the posters and the event were fake, and leaders like Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga, who had published the event’s poster on her Facebook page, forced to pull it down.

That led to a heated debate after the posters of the event surfaced on social media.

That poster led to several of Mr Odinga’s allies announcing they will attend the dinner at the Villa Rosa Kempinski hotel in Nairobi.
