Southampton welcomes Brighton and Hove Albion to battle for three points in a Premier League fixture at St Mary's Stadium.
The hosts welcome Brighton after undergoing a 2-2 draw with Leicester City on the same ground on Wednesday.
Johnny Evans and James Maddison netted aiding visitors who came from behind to steal a point.
Brighton also shared at West Ham a 1-1 draw. Neal Maupay's equalizing goal came one minute from the end of regulation time to cancel out Tomas Soucek's initial strike.
The draws left the two sides in 7th and 15th places in the table sequentially, although just four points separate them in the standings.
The middle of the Premier League table is extremely overcrowded and both sides will be striving to amass all three points on Saturday.
Southampton needs to harden their defence if they are to avoid being pulled into the relegation zone but Brighton's efforts in attack give them some form of comfort.
