Malindi Legislator Aisha Jumwa dismisses reports that Deputy President William Ruto blessed her a luxurious mansion to restrain her for his Presidential ambition.

Speaking during a TV interview on Monday, January 3, Jumwa dismissed the allegations saying that the DP Ruto did not gift her the said mansion.

The legislator added that she owns a number of high-end mansions that she built and some amassed using her hard-earned money.

"Why would Ruto buy me a house yet I have been with Ruto for like four years now? I have numerous luxurious houses that I did not get from either supporting ODM or William Ruto. The ones I have are from my hard-earned earnings and even some I amassed via loans that I'm currently still repaying them," Jumwa noted.

Ms Jumwa clarified that she promised her loyalty and support to DP Ruto because of his political ideologies and what he guaranteed to provide to the Coastal region once he grabs the presidency.

"I love William Ruto because he has changed the conversation making it people-centred even going to an extent of twirling a name to interpret his ideologies, Hustle Nation," she argued.

The lawmaker plans to construct a church and became a preacher after her journey in politics. She will be a priest after she attains her dream of becoming Kilifi governor in 2022 then thereafter becoming a Deputy President with the helm of her political career being the Head of State.

She also talked of reports that she had a man who doubled to be her bodyguard.

"Do I look like someone without a man?" Jumwa asked.

"There is a difference between having a husband and having a man. I’m not married but I have a man," she added.
