Everton legend Leon Osman talks about Everton going down. K24 EPL match this Saturday

Everton legend Leon Osman announces that he is ‘worried’ after drifting to relegation following a 3-1 setback to Newcastle on Tuesday night.

Frank Lampard’s men put in one of their terrible accomplishments after being dominated by the vibrant Magpies.

Despite the Jamaal Lascelles own-goal, the Toffees admitted a goal instantly with an own-goal from Mason Holgate.

Later, powdering under the pressure, they let in two second-half goals - courtesy of Ryan Fraser and Kieran Trippier.

Demarai Gray and Yerry Mina both went off wounded in the first half to merge the sorrow, with debutants Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek falling flat to impress.

The Everton legend claimed that the next game could be a thorn in the flesh. They will be battling Leeds at home who are also looking to survive in the league.

The legend remarked on the Everton performance, “You have to be concerned when your team is playing as badly as Everton are when your squad is exhibiting that it doesn’t take an awful lot to outfight you, to out-battle you, to score goals against you - these aren’t hallmarks of a traditional Everton team.

“ Everton began with an own-goal less than two minutes after going ahead in a significant game, you can’t keep having the money for that.

" You can’t keep giving goals away in games and expecting to get something out of it.

“I don’t know if I’d say the players defensively aren’t up to the call that they need, aren’t up to Premier League standard because at this juncture, as I said, it’s far too easy to score goals against Everton.”

The team will battle Leeds United in their next clash. The match will be live on K24 tv and Sanyuka TV.
