NYS II scandal main suspect Ann Ngirita detained at Lang'ata womens' prison after a surety withdrawn bond.

The surety details led to the withdrawal of the security deposit in court to bail out Ann Ngirita.

Milimani Anti-Corruption Magistrate Eunice Nyutu directed the detention of Ngirita after permitting a request by the surety to withdraw by the surety he had deposited for Ksh2 million.

Now Ngirita has a graft case over the KSh226.9 million NYS scandal and will remain in prison until she gets an alternative surety or cash bail.

The move comes after Ngirita, her mother, her two sisters, former PS Lilian Omollo and others appeared in court for the hearing of the graft case.
