Tanzania music star Diamond Platinumz featuring his ex-wife Zari Hassan are ready to begin a Netflix reality series named ‘Young, famous and African'.
The series premiere's on March 18 gathers a cast of prominent men and women from Africa.
It tracks eight African cast tagged “young and famous” due to their social media following and extreme media coverage.
Their stories underline past experiences in their relationship, lifestyle and social activities.
From the first episodes, the ex-couple lean on each other while adopting new horizons in romance, work, and relationships in South Africa’s ‘city of gold’ Joburg.
According to Netflix, “This reality series follows a crew of famed, wealthy stars as they work and play, flirt and rivalry in Johannesburg, South Africa. Starring: Khanyi Mbau, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ among others."
Sharing on Instagram, Diamond shared the official trailer and captioned it as: “Another one for the Culture!✌🏼….18th March 2022 on Netflix!”
‘Young, famous and African’ reality series features South African actress, TV host and musician Khanyi Mbau. She is also the sister of renowned SA celebrity Lasizwe Dambuza. Diamond Platnumz and his baby mama Zari the Boss Lady.
Others are South African mix master Quinton Masina famously identified as Naked DJ, Nigerian fashion designer Jeremiah Ogbodo alias Swanky Jerry.
