The battling teams today last met in the Champions League during the 2019-20 group stage. PSG did the double of Real Madrid in the group stage with a home victory and away draw.
Since 2015, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have played on six occasions in the Champions League.
Real Madrid published a record of 3W-1D-2L across the six matches. However, Parians are unbeaten in the teams’ last two matches.
Mauricio Pochettino acquired a resource boost over the weekend with Neymar returning to training. Neymar suffered an ankle injury that kept him on the bench for long.
Ancelotti’s team was dissatisfied with Villarreal over the weekend. The manager now struggles without his best player for the journey to the Parc des Princes as Karim Benzema is nursing a hamstring injury.
However Benzema will be fit to play from Monday as the club has worked hard to get him ready. Defender Ferland Mendy is a doubt following a muscle issue.
