Makena Njeri, a media star, spent a lot of money on their new girlfriend, Dr. Claire Kinuthia, also known as They Call Me Daktari.
They'd taken a trip to the coast to spend a nice week together in the sun.
Makena announced that they have returned to town after spending a week at the Bluetique beach home in Kikambala, Kilifi, Kenya.
The seaside house is available on Air BnB for 450$ per night (which roughly translates to over Kshs. 50,000 a night). Given that the couple spent a week at the beach, Makena must have spent more than Kshs. 350K on their newfound love.
The pair had a lot of fun on their trip. For the two, the highlight of the trip appeared to be a dhow sail on the ocean; what a wonderful location for new love to develop.
Fans have been following their relationship since they started posting each other on their pages.
The move comes after spilting with Michelle Ntalami.
Michelle said that Makena had cheated on her with a health worker when she first announced their breakup.
So fans now conclude that the health worker in question was Dr. Kinuthia.
During the recently finished International Women's Day, Makena lavished praise on their new partner.
Makena chose to honour Dr. Kinuthia because she was their hero on a day when most people were honouring their female heroes.
