Burnley VS Chelsea live on K24 TV this weekend 05/03/2022

Sean Dyche’s Clarets fight to get out of the bottom three in the league table and a 1-1 level at Selhurst Park indicates that they are now unbeaten in three matches.

With Everton beaten by Manchester City,  Burnley remains one point behind Everton. After Leeds United’s heavy defeat to Tottenham, Burnley has two points from the Lancashire club.

After the draw,  Dyche said: “It’s always challenging coming down to this ground, and I know we’ve done well here over the last few seasons, but I thought the mentality was strong, we were a bit soft first half, but not much in it, we weren’t giving lots away.

“We didn’t play quick enough, find a tempo in our game, played backwards too many times, then a foothold in the game.

“They netted a soft goal from our point of view, but second half the mentality was excellent again, to take the match on from the whistle, which I asked them to do, and they did, and then the mental strength of the side.

“As the game sported on, you wondered if they would try and sneak one, which they did, but our guarding was excellent from the front to the back.”

Burnley hosts Chelsea this weekend. The Blues form has not been great, and they think of snatching a point.
