A 35-year-old guy is recovering from serious gunshot wounds after being caught in a compromising position with the man's wife and being fired at by a 65-year-old man.

A resident of the Kimalat neighbourhood reported hearing numerous gunshots from a neighbouring residence through the police hotline at about 0310 hours, according to the event recorded at Kitengela police station.

Officers on patrol arrived on the scene immediately. Upon arrival, they determined that it was one Paul Lenana, a licensed firearms holder number 003105, Ceska serial number B250159 holding his firearm.

Mr Lenana allegedly fired several shots after finding his wife, Mary Wanjiru, and another man, Daudi Kiprop, inside his car parked outside Lenana's compound at around 0250hrs.

According to the claim, Lenana shot six rounds of ammunition into Kiprop's KCR639U Toyota ISIS, turning it silver in colour.

"The alleged man was shot in the right hand below the elbow, while Wanjiru was bruised on the left b*ttock and left upper back near the shoulder," according to the report.
