Manchester United vs Chelsea live match on Friday 2022

In nearly precisely nine years, Chelsea has not won at Old Trafford. Nine! Not after David Luiz made a snide remark about Rafael.

There had a (relatively) decent record there, especially considering their league supremacy under Sir Alex Ferguson, but that hasn't been the case in the last decade. It might be worse – there are five draws and three losses — but it could be better.

(In reality, we haven't beaten them in the league since November 2017.) The 2018 FA Cup final, as well as the 2020 FA Cup semifinal, are both set to take place at Wembley Stadium.)

In any event, Manchester United might end their ineptitude by stopping the Blues. However, they might continue stretching their club-record 8-game undefeated run on the road.

The good news is that Antonio Rüdiger and Reece James are also ready to assist, but they may take it light and cautiously given their ailments.

Andreas Christensen is expected to return after his recent gastrointestinal issues, while Mateo Kovai, Callum Hudon-Odoi, and Ben Chilwell are still out.

DSTV, Canal+ and BT sports will air the match live.
