Kalonzo Musyoka vack yo Raila Odinga"s Azimio after ditching over personal interests

President Uhuru Kenyatta and leader of the opposition Raila Amollo Odinga have been trapped by Wiper leader Steven Kalonzo Musyoka, who has made new demands.

According to a local newspaper, Raila and Kalonzo are in deep discussions and could rejoin by the end of the month.

Despite announcing his presidential candidacy and revealing his running mate on Monday, Kalonzo is expected to abandon his campaign and back Azimio's presidential candidate ahead of the August national election.

Furthermore, the Wiper party leader has yet to file a court petition to resign from the Azimio coalition as anticipated.

Kalonzo now wants a permanent job that will be on the agreement where Raila Odinga will not have the power to fire him for five years.

The wiper leader demands come after battling the deputy president position. The position was taken by Martha Karua.

Raila earlier nominated Musyoka as chief cabinet secretary if Azimio leads the next administration, but the Wiper leader is understood to be exploring the position with a variety of conditions in place.

Further on the requirements is that the chief cabinet secretary's position be mentioned in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition agreement and lodged with the registrar of political parties so that he can be assured of it.
