Kevin-Prince Boateng, a Ghanaian international, has married for the first time in the metaverse.

The metaverse is a virtual environment in which friends and family can participate in an online celebration.

On Saturday, the 35-year-old married his fiancée Valentina Fradegrada in a beautiful wedding in Siena, Italy.

Boateng has been seeing Valentina after his divorce from Melissa Satta.

The couple took marriage to new heights by sending out invitations via NFTs, which cost 50 Euros each.

Since they got engaged, the Ghanaian international and his girlfriend have experienced a sweet time, culminating in a beautiful wedding ceremony over the weekend.

Through the metaverse, friends and family were able to participate in the event.

Kevin-Prince Boateng spent last season at his boyhood club Hertha Berlin, where he kept them afloat in a relegation playoff against Hamburg.

The 35-year-old is yet to renew his contract with the capital-based club, with a new manager keen to work with him before a deal is completed.
