Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus move to Arsenal

As per The Times, Arsenal is becoming relatively positive that a move to capture Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus is closer to being finalized.

According to the source, the Brazil forward wishes to join Arsenal, who are poised to up their offer, which is currently below City's £50 million assessment.

With Jesus' contract at City coming to an end this summer, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is said to have made signing the 25-year-old one of his top goals this summer.

According to numerous reports, Gianluca Scamacca and Gabriel Jesus look to be the two top contenders right now, with the latter being the more important.

Arsenal, on the other hand, isn't the only team competing in either player.

Chelsea and Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in signing Jesus, but if Romelu Lukaku transfers to Inter Milan, as appears inevitable, Thomas Tuchel's side may be the most dangerous.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Scamacca is garnering attention from PSG, who have already made a proposal.
