UDA leadership at the coast is accused of buying a space on one of the local dailies, pushing for propaganda.
Pamoja African Alliance(PAA) accuses Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa of promoting a story on a local daily that there are negotiating for local democracy.
Kenya Kwanza coalition claimed to have zoning in some areas that were perceived to belong to a particular party.
However, UDA has demonstrated that it is ready to eat a bigger share of the next government if DP William Ruto wins.
MP Jumwa claimed to have sponsored an article alleging that PAA governor candidate George Kithi will quit the race and support her.
PAA led by Governor Amason Kingi rubbished the move saying the party is on the ballot with all slots except the Presidential candidate slot.
" We are shocked to hear that UDA has sponsored an article in the local newspaper that PAA governor will join hands with Aisha Jumwa.
" We are in Kenya Kwanza as partners but we contest differently. The news is fake and nobody will resign for her," Kingi stated.
According to PAA officials Beatrice Tumaini and Charles Chigiri, the party has never come to terms with UDA that one will resign to support the other.
Chigiri said, " It is unfortunate that our partner has resorted to blackmail and intimidation. Nobody will resign unless agreed by the candidate himself.
" George Kithi and the PAA team will be on the ballot. Our members should not worry. The victory is ours come August 2022 polls. "
Kenya Kwanza has been through troubles at the Coast and Mt Kenya. PAA is demanding zoning like what is in Azimio.
The same problem also hit Mt Kenya with leaders demanding local parties to take on the mantle.
