Maina Kageni, a popular radio host in Nairobi, has said in public that he does not have a degree and has no plans to get one.
The great Dane, Classic FM Radio host, advised candidates running on false academic credentials to stop and start living their lives.
The flamboyant broadcaster went on to say that, despite his inability to complete his education, he is happy with one thing he came up with that has been assisting him in living a decent life.
He noted his fluency in English, which he has used his entire life to make a fair living without falsifying paperwork to get a status that he does not have.
Mr. Kageni said that he dropped out of school to become a truck driver. Many years later, he suddenly had a lot of money.
"I have no degree, so I cannot even look for that job (Governor). You cannot simply bring a degree form and present it anywhere. You can not buy papers. You will be found out at some point. "
" After dropping out of school for 25 years, my mum only forgave me last year (2021)," he revealed on air.
And responding to the same, his humorous co-host Mwalimu King’ang’i recalled to him that at least he (Kageni) dropped out of school with good grades and that he was putting daily food on the table.
