Liberia vs Morocco live on K24 TV Maskani ya AFCON 2022 today

Liberia will face Morocco at the Stade Mohammed V on Monday in the first match of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification quest.

The Atlas Lions, on the other hand, are coming off a first-day triumph over South Africa and will be aiming to keep their winning streak going.

Liberia's last match was on March 29, when they were defeated 2-1 by Burundi in a friendly match at the Mardan Sports Complex.

Les Hirondelles went into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead thanks to Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana's two goals in the first 37 minutes, before Divine Teah drew one back three minutes later.

Liberia had previously suffered a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Benin on March 24, followed by a 1-0 setback to Sierra Leone three days later.

The Lone Star is attempting to make their third participation at the Africa Cup of Nations, since their first appearance in 2002 when they were eliminated from the group stage after two draws and one loss in their first three games.

Peter Butler's team has lost seven of their past eight games in all competitions, except a 3-1 win against the Central African Republic in November 2021. Liberia's bad run has been attributed to its defensive flaws, with the country conceding 15 goals while scoring only five.
