Former members of the Nairobi Diaries cast Diana Clara Ojenger, alias Mishi Dora, was charged with receiving benefits under false pretenses in court.

After avoiding paying a KSh 152,550 bill at a city eatery, the hotly debated actress was brought before the Kibera Law Courts.

The erratic socialite, who is a mother of one, strolled into Golden Ice Bistro at Nextgen Mall on May 26 and left the next morning, according to court filings.

According to accounts, Mishi threw the party to commemorate the premiere of Olaedo, a Nigerian film in which she starred.

According to images released online, the socialite wore a black robe with a hint of gold, a sleek pair of shoes, and a black wig on the day in question.

She ordered six bottles of Belaire Luxe at KSh 75,000, seven Hennessey bottles at KSh 70,000, two chicken breasts, Redbull energy drinks and water.

When it came time to pay, Mishi stated that her ATM was broken and she couldn't pay the amount.

She begged that club manager Dennis Munyasia drive her to her home in Lavington to gather some cash to cover the debt after discussions with club officials.

After an hour, she changed her mind and requested to meet an artists at the airport, but no one turned up after waiting for hours.


They let her off the hook, but she didn't keep her half of the bargain, leading the club to file a report with the Akila Police Station.


Mishi was released on a KSh 50,000 cash bail and a KSh 200,000 alternative bond.
