McDonald Mariga, a retired footballer, claims that opposition thugs attacked him while he was campaigning.
Mariga, who is running for the Kibra parliamentary seat, claims he was assaulted and wounded by cronies.
He has requested that the matter be investigated and that the culprits be apprehended.
In a video footage, he remarked, "You see they have broken my hand, but they will not intimidate me."
"We've been conducting peaceful campaigns here, but some ODM and Azimio politicians have dispatched young people to harm me."
" I've filed a police report, and we'll make sure these people are apprehended and imprisoned."
Mariga also alleged that his car had been destroyed and that some of his female followers had been harassed.
"This is not the case. It is not the Kibra we want. We want to have peace," he added.
