George Wajackoyah, the presidential candidate of the Roots Party of Kenya, has said that if Kenyans elect him, he will grow bhang on all public land to help pay off the country's debt.

He stated that there is a large part of public land lying idle. He was in Embu County, where he graced the Chogachoga concert event at Njukiri. He adde that if used properly, the national debt will be paid off.

He claims that the Galana-Kulalu, for example, will be overrun with Cannabis Sativa.

Apart from cultivating the substance for economic objectives, the Roots Party leader stated that it will also be utilized for therapeutic ones.

He went on to say that he would close all prisons and that anyone found guilty of any form of corruption would face the death penalty.

The presidential candidate also stated that if elected President, the first task he will undertake after taking office is to investigate the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) scandal and bring the perpetrators to justice.

"Those proven guilty in situations of corruption will face a terrible execution," Wajackoyah added.

He emphasized that graft will not be tolerated by his government at any moment.
