Nameless petition to have south c road named E-sir road

In order to honor his late Ogopa DJs label partner Issa Mmari, also known as E-Sir, renowned musician David Mathenge alias Nameless has begun a movement to have a road, street, or drive in South C named after him.

The petition asks the Nairobi County Council (NCC) and the Office of the Ombudsman to carry out the act in commemoration of the deceased urban music legend and to celebrate his musical skill.

"E-talent, Sir's hard work, enthusiasm, and humility continue to inspire generations even after his death."

Nameless said that if a road is named after him, it will honor these good ideas and show how important the arts are to our culture.

Nameless made the campaign, which was sent to the newly elected governor of Nairobi, Johnson Sakaja, the Nairobi County Assembly, and the county executive for transport and roads.

The musician collaborated on the song "Bandana ya Sir" to honor the late performer earlier this year with Trio Mio, E-brother Sir's Habib, and a few other artists.
