Sevilla FC vs Valencia CF live today at La Liga Santima macth

When Valencia visits the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday night, Sevilla will be hoping to keep moving up the La Liga standings.

Sevilla is mired in the bottom part of the rankings after collecting only nine points out of a possible 27 this campaign. Don't forget that they placed fourth the previous season.

On the other hand, Valencia, who have 14 points through their first nine games, are now barely outside the European spots, five points ahead of Sevilla.

Unbelievably, Sevilla has only been successful in two of its nine La Liga matches this year, with three draws and four defeats.

The Andalusia team struggled in their first four matches, tying 1-1 with Valladolid and losing 2-1 to Osasuna, 2-1 to Almeria, and 2-1 to Barcelona (0-3).

They were unable to defeat Villarreal (1-1), Atletico Madrid (0-2) and Athletic Club after defeating Espanyol (3-2). (1-1). However, they defeated Mallorca in their most recent game to go back on track (0-1).

Over eight of Sevilla's nine competitions, this season has had over 1.5 goals scored. The victory over the weekend before was their first game with a clean sheet.

Valencia has won four of their nine La Liga games this season, while also recording two draws and three losses.

Los Che was defeated by Athletic Club (1-0), Atletico Madrid (1-0), and Rayo Vallecano in their first five league games (2-1). However, they were able to recover.

Valencia is undefeated in four games heading into their matchup on Tuesday. After drawing with Espanyol (2-2) and defeating Celta Vigo (3-0), they defeated Osasuna (1-2) and then drew with Elche (2-2).

Over 2.5 goals have been scored in each of Valencia's last six league matches, while over 3.5 goals have been scored in three of those games.

Head-to-head: Valencia has lost five of their past seven games overall against Sevilla and has not been victorious in any of those contests.

In their previous eight La Liga meetings with Sevilla, Valencia had just one victory, and seven of those matches had under 2.5 goals.

Team news: On Tuesday, Sevilla will be without injured players Jesus Corona and Karim Rekik. Due to sickness, Fernando is also in question.

Jaume Domenech, nonetheless, is out for Valencia due to injury. Samuel Castillejo is also questionable for Tuesday's match due to injury.

Given the low-yielding trend of this matchup in prior seasons, Tuesday's game is likely to be a somewhat uninteresting affair.
