Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei on Azimio associates jobs

The Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, has said that candidates for principal secretary positions should not come from the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition in the general elections of August 9.

Cherargei said that the followers of Azimio shouldn't be able to hold office in William Ruto's government because they didn't agree with him being president.

"On the selected PSs, I saw some Azimio-OKA apologists who didn't respect H.E. Ruto's presidency and called him names; they should stay in opposition rather than undermine our God-given government and refrain from recycling. To serve the government and Kenyans, one must have complete loyalty to H.E. Ruto," Cherargei said in a tweet.

The senator's comments come after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said that the Kenya Kwanza government will give rewards to its supporters first.

The Kenya Kwanza faithful would be honored before newcomers are taken into consideration, according to DP Gachagua, who was speaking at a thanksgiving ceremony on Sunday in the county of Uasin Gishu.

"Those who planted should harvest first; other people wish to reap where they did not sow. Those who did not sow will get whatever is left after we have dealt with everyone who sowed and the crop. "

The Public Service Commission has chosen 585 people to compete for the jobs of Principal Secretaries in a number of ministries.

There are a number of people who backed Ruto in the 2022 elections, as well as others who backed Azimio.
