The murder of a teacher at Got Kachacha Secondary School in Suna West, Migori County, who was discovered dead inside a toilet, has been the subject of an official probe.
The 32-year-old male teacher was found dead in the bathroom on Tuesday night by students who were cleaning it, said Esau Ochorokodi, who is in charge of the Suna East Sub-county police.
He drew attention to the fact that the deceased's corpse was leaning against the walls of the lavatory.
The police chief said that earlier in the day, the deceased had been seen going to the bathroom, but they had disappeared since then.
His remains are stored in the Migori referral hospital morgue until an autopsy performed because police have not yet determined why he died.
