Bournemouth vs Tottenham match live on K24. Which game to be air by k24 saturday 29th October 2022

Following Monday's 2-0 defeat at West Ham, Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil tallied up as many as 10 VAR judgements that had gone against his team since his appointment, with the Cherries being on the brink of losing through a couple of handball calls in the English capital.

Regardless of the fact that Thilo Kehrer's hands were obviously struck by the ball, Kurt Zouma's initial goal was upheld because they were found to be in a natural posture. Said Benrahma then scored from the penalty spot after Jordan Zemura was called for a handball of his own.

O'Neil, a former West Ham player, probably told the referees at halftime that he didn't like the first decision. His Cherries team is now 14th in the division after losing back-to-back games and ending a six-game winning streak.

The gap between Bournemouth and the relegation zone is now four points, and the fact that they failed to score in both of their defeats to Southampton and West Ham keeps them on only 10 goals for the season, the fewest of any team above the relegation zone.

Only four of Bournemouth's 10 league goals this season have come from away, where they have lost four of their six games in the top tier without scoring, while Tottenham also struggled offensively in the midweek match.

O'Neil's anger did not get him in trouble with the officials, but Antonio Conte lost his cool when Tottenham was brutally denied a late winner against Sporting, thereby eliminating their prospects of moving on to the knockout stages with that 1-1 draw.

Marcus Edwards gave Sporting the lead in the first half with a well-deserved goal, but Rodrigo Bentancur's header tied the game. Then, Harry Kane thought he had won the game with almost the last kick, but he was wrong.

Conte was issued his direct orders by referee Danny Makkelie for his complaints after a protracted VAR review finally resulted in the strike being disallowed for a close offside ruling. Conte also left his media briefing after accepting only one question from the media.

Tottenham's recent league losses to Manchester United and Newcastle United made it three straight games without a win in any competition. As frustrating as that was, Conte didn't try to hide how unhappy he was with his team's performance in the first half.

The Lilywhites are currently holding on to third place, but with a game still to play, Chelsea and Manchester United are both within striking distance of them and are just five points behind leaders Arsenal.

Despite having only one victory in their last six away matches across all competitions, Bournemouth have avoided defeat in their last two meetings with Spurs at the Vitality Stadium, winning 1-0 in May 2019 and drawing 0-0 in July 2020.
